Hello,

The DisProt Annoucements Archives simply lists all the messages that
were sent to the mailing list. To get a comprehensive view of all the
messages, click on the "view by: Thread/Subject/Author/Date" links. The
Gzip'd link will display all the messages grouped into one file, which
does look like garbage.
The list started in March 2006 and we send out very few emails, mostly
only to announce new DisProt releases.

...I just happened to visit your Disprot Archives and found that they 
appear to contain mostly garbage. It might be worth checking....
